I am an MSc student in Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry at UFRJ, working under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Leonardo Freire-de-Lima. My project, Evaluation of the Antitumor Effect of Curcumin Derivatives Against Adenocarcinoma and Carcinoma Cell Lines of Human Lung, focuses on the design, synthesis, and biological evaluation of curcumin derivatives. I investigate their SAR, effects on cell viability, proliferation, cell cycle and cell death, metastasis, and EMT.
